Battle of Reykjavik - 1959

A piece of alternate history concept art I developed this week! The scenario: The year is 1959, the United States has just embarked on its assault of the Nazi controlled German Empire which has engulfed Europe. In this timeline, Japan never attacked Pearl Harbor, and Operations Sea Lion and Barbarossa were successful. The U.S. did not get involved in the war as we know it. Their first obstacle in the conflict is the German base of operations in the northern Atlantic that threatens the American mainland. This was lots of fun to paint!
